In addition to the professional-scientific activity and the educational process quality assurance as well as the activity regarding students’ problems and domestic and international relations, a highly important part in the overall activity performed in the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest is played by the managerial and economic-administrative activity.

The measures taken by the university management, and accepted by the academic community, have led to a remarkable increase in revenues, which exceeded the amount of €60 million in 2008, the main sources of these revenues being: research, complementary funding, tuition fees and our own farms.

By virtue of the effective management performed within the university, we have succeeded in achieving a high degree of independence from the state budget, because the basic funding accounts for only 17% of the overall revenues obtained.

As a result of our achievements up to the present, UASVM Bucharest is highly appreciated at the national and international level, being involved in numerous partnerships and projects, together with higher education, research and production institutions.

The consistent growth in current revenues and the rational and balanced expenditures management have led to consolidate the university patrimony, thus providing optimum conditions for study and accommodation for the students, a decent and motivating payment for the teaching staff and other categories of personnel in the university.

Our numerous partners acknowledge without any exception that we are a very dynamic entrepreneurial university, comparable to the most renowned universities in the country and abroad.
